Three Horses 4
New Variety 6
It was all-action in the opening half of a high scoring game. Horses scored an early goal and 20 minutes later the visitors drew level. The teams swapped goals throughout the first 45 minutes and were level at 3-3 when the half time whistle blew.
After the break the home team again took the lead only for New Variety to get their act together and score three times without any further goals from their opponents. Liam Jeffries scored a hat-trick for the New Variety Club and was backed up by two goals from John Baker and one from Kyle Richmond.
Division One
Cavendish Hotel 0
Braithwaite Tavern 3
Tavern had a slight edge over the full 90 minutes and were two goals up at half time.
In the second period Cavendish missed a penalty attempt, but were given a second bite of the cherry after a second infringement - and again their penalty taker missed. If either of the two spot kicks had gone in it could have changed the game, but Braithwaite added a further goal.
