MARK Simpson was once again the match winner for Ermysted's Grammar School as they made it to the last 16 of the national Daily Mail Vase for the first time in their history.
Simpson's solitary penalty was enough to sink Giggleswick in the last round and he produced the goods with the boot once again against Yarm on Wednesday.
With the sides locked at 8-8, he kicked a penalty in the second half to secure an 11-8 win and book a home tie against Ullswater Community College.
In the match played at Skipton Rugby Club, Ermysted's went into an 8-0 lead within the first 20 minutes thanks to a try from Callum Cameron following a driven lineout and a drop goal from that man Simpson.
Yarm hit back with an unconverted try of their own and a penalty to go in level at the break.
It was left to Simpson to see his side into the fifth round in a tight second half.
