The Head sponsored BSPA Squash Circuit, to be played at the Ilkley Lawn Tennis and Squash Club from Thursday to Sunday, February 2-5, has attracted a number of world ranked players.
Top seed is London-based and World ranked 21 Peter Barker, who was runner-up in this tournament last year. Former World No 2 and currently ranked World 29 Simon Parke is seeded 2, while the World 27 Joey Barrington, is 3/4 seed, along with another former top world 16 player Stephen Meads.
Top local player Ben Rickaby has made the top draw and is due to play a qualifier in the first round.
Qualifying rounds will take place on the Thursday night from 6pm onwards, with the main draw games starting Friday from noon and finishing late Friday night.
Quarter-final matches start Saturday from noon with the semi-finals starting at 6pm Saturday night with the final at 2pm on the Sunday.
Ilkley Squash Coach Robbie Burnett, who is the tournament organiser, has been able to attract a number of sponsors for the tournament, which helps ensure that Ilkley is the only club in Yorkshire to host such an event.
Robbie said: "This helps give a great boost to all local squash players.This year there are eight sponsors and the Ilkley Squash club appreciates their sponsorship.
