Farsley Juniors won through to the last eight of the Garforth League Supplementary Cup with a 5-3 victory over Bolton Woods.

In a game that was a great advert

for junior football, Farsley and Bolton played a fast expansive game with some great flowing moves.

Farsley took the lead through Max Collins with a great shot but were immediately pegged back by Woods.

James Cook fired a left-footer into the top corner to restore Farsley's lead but a penalty drew Woods level at the break.

In the second half, Farsley ran the show and goals from Tom Hird and two from the prolific Josh Maskill gave them a deserved win.

For a great defensive display Jordan Lodonwnski was named man of the match.

Prospect Juniors had a comfortable 7-3 victory over Chapletown in the same competition.

Prospect struggled to put two passes together until ten minutes before half- time when Simon Mcquiston scored twice and Luke Dickenson added a third.

Two goals from Rhys Whelan and one each from Danny Illingworth and Danny Reynoulds completed the score.

On Saturday, Prospect lost an entertaining and competitive match 3-2 against Eccleshill Pumas in the Leeds United Millenium Cup.

Scorers for Prospect were Curtis Rawnsley and Simon Mcquiston. Prospect also missed a penalty.

Prospect's centre half, Danny Illingworth, has been given a trial by Bradford City.

Bingley under-14s had a narrow escape against Eccleshill in the Steven Greenwood Trophy.

Phil Cutler scored the equaliser with the last kick of normal time, and Bingley went on to win it in extra-time.

Sam Jacomb put Bingley ahead but a missed penalty and two goals for Eccleshill, one a penalty, gave them the advantage, until Cutler's last-gasp rescue act.

Cutler was the hero again when he scored the extra-time match-winner for Bingley.

A Tom Carberry equaliser after the best move of the match should have been enough for Bingley to earn a share of

the points against Bolton Woods

under-16s, but a poorly defended corner allowed Bolton Woods to take all three points.

Bingley under-15s came back from 2-0 down against Tyersal to win 6-2. Goals from Simon McCarten, Ross Parr and a hat-trick from Brandon Hammond gave Bingley a deserved win.

Idle Juniors under-12s beat Eccleshill United 1-0 in the League Cup.

The only goal was scored by Dale Chadwick, curling the ball in the top left corner from a tight angle just inside the area.

It was an eventful game with both teams playing fast end-to-end football but with few clear-cut chances. Calverley United A under-nines beat Albion Sports A 1-0 in the Garforth League.

Jas Singh and Jordan Stefanauti played well for Albion.

Albion's B team drew with Calverley United B 1-1.

Albion took the lead through Ryan Watling but Calverly soon equalised. Man-of-the-match Ryan Singh fought well in the midfield alongside the impressive Majjid but neither side could force the winner.

In the Craven, Aire & Wharfe League, Idle A under-13s beat Burley A 9-6.

Both teams deserve credit in this thriller. Burley twice came from behind after being 2-0 and 4-2 down. Idle finally made it safe after taking a 7-6 lead with two late goals.

Scorers for Idle were Ashley Bedell (4), Ben Bairstow (2), Conner Cooper and a brace for man-of-the-match Alex Mellor. Burley's scorers were Ben Chew (2), Steven Palmer and a hat-trick for Thomas Scott.

After a long lay-off and postponed matches, Kings Park Pumas and Kings Park Panthers took all six points from Gomersal.

On a muddy pitch, the Park Pumas were first off the mark with a stunning goal. Gomersal fought hard and pulled one back with a header.

The Park were not to be outdone and piled on the pressure to regain the lead. Jack Howland made sure with two more goals and an own goal made the final score 5-1.

Silsden under-11s continued their climb with an impressive 10-1 win over a very strong Burley Trojans team.

Silsden's midfield of Tom McCann, Chris Rudden and Oliver Stephenson created many chances for the strikers and they went in at half-time five goals up.

In the second half Silsden took the game from Burley with five more goals but Burley never gave up and pulled one back. Silsden's scorers were Josh McNulty (5), Ben Geary (2), Conagh Darwin (2) and McCann.
