Tyersal's hopes of restoring local bragging rights over their Mumtaz Premier Division rivals Wibsey ended in failure.
Two goals from Damian Melvin and another from Mark Sugden brought Wibsey a welcome 3-1 victory which ended a three-match run without a win. Andy Carlton scored Tyersal's sole effort.
Campion's 5-2 home win over second- placed Brighouse Town condemned Town to their heaviest defeat for more than five seasons.
Campion were four goals up within the first 30 minutes with strikes from Adie Howard, Neil Walters, Adam Jones and Chris Graham. Alex Tate reduced the arrears before the interval.
Campion's successive run of six straight league victories since the end of last September was never in danger of being halted as they continued to stretch Town's defence to the limit in the second half but only had a second goal from Howard to show for their efforts. Town substitute Rob Malone scored late on in the game to restore a little confidence to the championship contenders.
Leaders Bay Athletic moved back into a four-point advantage over Brighouse Town after beating third-placed Ovenden West Riding 3-1. Golcar United built up a 5-1 lead at Halifax Irish, before the home side hit back to reduce the arrears to only one goal, before a sixth goal gave Golcar all three points in the ten-goal thriller.
South Bradford will be rueing their missed chances at home to Division One leaders Hall Green United. A Tyrone Breaks goal was all they had to show for their efforts against the Wakefield side who took their few chances to score three times through Chris Callaghan, Peter Knighting and a Martin Scarthe penalty to win 3-1.
Second-placed Lower Hopton trounced hosts Farnley 8-1 with prolific striker Gavin Birmingham netting a hat-trick - his fourth of the season.
The biggest surprise of the day came at Salts where the home side - with only four points from their 16 previous games - dented the pride of promotion hopefuls Steeton with a 4-2 victory. Nick Hird (2), Richard Hall and Paul Rushworth were on target for Salts.
Westwood completely dominated their home game against Wakefield City but could not find that essential ingredient needed to win matches - goals. Two late strikes from Dave Shaw and a penalty converted by Mark Kershaw gave the Wakefield side all three points.
Dudley Hill Athletic were holding their own against visitors and second- placed Division Two side Overthorpe, before defender Chris Jeng handled the ball on the goalline and was dismissed.
Athletic completely fell away and as Overthorpe with goals from Dave Hall (5), Lee Brook (4), Neil Sykes and Brian McDonald, ran out 11-0 victors.
Hunsworth lost out to leaders Meltham Athletic 4-2.
