The Shammies Under-13s B maintained their position at the top of the table with a convincing win away at Nab Wood. The Shammies took their time to settle in this game and it was not until half way through the first half before Jonny Greenwood opened the scoring. Liam Fothergill and Jack Bilney made it 3-0 before half time. In the second half the Shammies controlled the game and went on to score a further five goals through Adam Williams, Danny Holmes, jack Bilney, and Liam Fothergill (2). Man of the match was Liam Fothergill and the manager's award went to Matthew Robinson. There was also good performance from Richard Driver in goals and the defence was solid throughout.
Keighley Shamrocks Under-16s started the new year off with an excellent team performance. Michael Binns scored two with his best performance by far this season. Matthew Wilson got himself on the score list with one and Gavin Meakin netted three securring the man of the match award. The final score 6-2 to Shamrocks.
Long Lee Under-13s came away with a 7-0 win from Shipley Tigers to keep up their unbeaten run. Long Lee'' man of the match was Joe Alvey and scorers were K O'Driscoll (3), B Whiteoak (2), T Colgan and J Alvey. J Holt and A Clough had good games in defence and J Cellion caused trouble for the home defence late in the game.
After cruising to a 7-2 victory over Bankfoot Villa with goals from Robbie Robinson (2), Chris Fazackerley and Joshua Huntley (4), Long Lee Under-14s played some quality football to secure a 5-1 victory over Oakworth. Matthew Kershaw opened the scoring for Long Lee followed closely by Joshua Huntley. James Francis made it 3-0 at the break with a neat finish. The second half saw Long lee up the tempo with Kershaw netting his second with a superb chip. Huntley was on target again as he smashed home to take a 5-0 lead. Oakworth worked hard and eventually broke through, making it 5-1. James Francis and R J Gaughan shared a well-deserved match point.
Silsden Under-11s raced back after Sandy lane had scored an early goal to secure a 9-1 victory. By half time Silsden were 3-1 up and Silsden's three man defence of Mark Smith, Harvey Briggs and Zachary Conway were rarely troubled. Goal scorers were Luke Wilson (2), Ben Geary (2), Christopher Rud den,Conagh Darwin, Oliver Stephenson, Tom McCann and man of the match Josh McNulty
Silsden went behind to an early goal from Sutton, before pulling back to secure a 2-1 win. They equalised through Ellis Hudson and man of the match Max Misaljevich made some important tackles. The match was eventually settled by a second goal from Hudson who hit the post and saw the ball bounce in off the keeper. A good save by Silsden keeper Josh Vickers made sure they held on to the points.
Silsden Under-14 A got back into match action after the X-mas break away to Bingley. Silsden were caught out by an early goal but they worked themselves back into the game well. but went into the break 2-0 down. Silsden took control of the game after the break for 15 minutes pegging Bingley back but they couldn't find the net Adam Sessford coming closest with a well struck free kick. Bingley scored their 3rd on the break as Silsden continued to give there best but just couldn't find the net losing out finally 6-0. There were several good performances Dan Pitfield, Keeper Richard Quigley Tom Sessford Andy Cairns John Golson and man of the match Robert De Belder all been worthy of note.
