Detectives hunting the third suspect in connection with the killing of PC Sharon Beshenivsky today arrested two men in Birmingham.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police and West Midlands Police carried out a number of dawn raids in the city.
The two men were arrested on suspicion of firearm offences in the West Midlands and were taken to an unnamed police station for questioning.
A nationwide manhunt has been going on for Mustaf Jama, 25, who is believed to have links with Birmingham since PC Beshenivsky, 38, was shot dead as she and a colleague investigated an armed robbery at a travel agency in Morley Street, Bradford, on November 18 last year.
Jama's brother Yusuf Jama, 19, and Muzzaker Imtiaz Shah, 24, have been charged with her murder.
