A man has been jailed for six years for his part in a vicious sex attack on two terrified young women.
And a judge has ordered that Moldovan Igor Ciugureanu is deported after serving his prison sentence.
A Court heard he and two accomplices subjected the women to a violent assault at their home in Little Horton, Bradford, on December 19, 2004.
Ciugureanu, 22, of Thornton Lane, Little Horton, admitted attempted rape and grievous bodily harm.
Police are still searching for another man in connection with the incident. Miroslav Falkevic was arrested on suspicion of serious sexual assault but failed to answer police bail.
Leeds Crown Court heard yesterday Ciugureanu head-butted one woman and punched the other so hard she needed surgery on her shattered jaw.
Prosecutor Caroline Wiggin said one of Ciugureanu's accomplices, known as Peter, scaled a drainpipe and knocked on a second-floor attic window where the woman was lodging.
He went down to let Ciugureanu and a man known as Vitali into the house. The two women were East Europeans working as packers in the city.
Miss Wiggin said Peter went into the bedroom and hit the woman on the head, dragged her to the bed and tried to rape her, watched by Ciugureanu and Vitali. He committed a sex act while Vitali and the defendant entered the second girl's bedroom. She had been disturbed by the noise and was sitting up in bed.
Ciugureanu butted her, ordered her to undress and punched her in the face. Vitali kicked her in the back and hit her on the cheek. Both tried to rape her.
She grabbed her phone and fled chased by Ciugureanu. He tried to seize the phone then returned to warn his friends the police may have been called. He then attacked the woman in her bedroom, breaking her jaw. Miss Wiggin said friends of the women then turned up and there was a fracas.
Ciugureanu agreed they went into the house but denied the sex attack and said the girls were laughing.
His barrister Nigel Edwards said all three men had been drinking. He said his client had limited sexual experience and thought there was a more liberal attitude in Britain.
Judge Rodney Grant said the women had been subjected to degrading and violent behaviour by all three men.
The judge recommended Ciugureanu is deported after his sentence. He told him: "Your continued presence in this country is detrimental to it."
Ciugureanu was also placed on the sexual offenders register.
l Police ask anyone who knows where Falkevic is to call Bradford South Police on (01274) 376459 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111. He is 5ft 10in to 6ft and muscular with short, dark hair and brown eyes.
