After Sunday's fourth round County Cup ties, the Alliance's only League representative in the last eight of the competition are Silsden.
The repeat of last season's final produced an 11-goal cracker with holders Readoubt Wakefield pipping Bolton Woods 6-5.
Woods got off to a flyer when Dominic Quinn found space to convert Andy Howland's excellent pass into the box after only three minutes.
Twelve minutes later the same player knocked the ball in from a corner to put Woods 2-0 up.
But in a spell before half-time it was Readoubt's turn to get on top and they finished with a 30-yarder to turn round
3-2 up.
The game looked to be over when Readoubt added a fourth. Then Andy Howland nicked one back but almost immediately Readoubt restored their two-goal lead at 5-3.
Woods put a tremendous effort in the last ten minutes and deserved to level through Howland and Andy Carlton only to be cruelly denied extra-time which was only seconds away when Readoubt hit the winner.
In the all-Alliance clash, First Division promotion candidates Silsden added the scalp of premier club Fairweather Green to their list with a fine 3-2 win.
In front through Adam Whiteoak and Dale Hoyle, Silsden responded with a second goal from Whiteoak after Fairweather had pulled a goal back.
A late penalty couldn't save Fairweather, whose exit leaves the Alliance's responsibility on Silsden's shoulders.
Former winners Albion Sports went out 3-2 in front of a big crowd at Birkenshaw. The game stood at 2-2 with extra-time looking inevitable when Birkenshaw produced a winner which certainly had the look of offside about it.
To add to Albion's day, their reserve side went out of the County Trophy at Amaranth Leeds 7-3.
The breaks didn't go for Wyke Wanderers either in their match at Walkers Arms Huddersfield where a goal given when the ball had gone out of play and a harsh penalty played their part in Wyke's 4-0 downfall.
Playing for pride in their second half, Wyke dominated but couldn't make any impact on the scoreline.
A goal in each half from Eccleshill Sunday's Ben Hardy saw his team reach the semi final of the Intermediate Cup in a 2-0 win over Bradford Ukrainians.
In the other quarter-final, Andy Fieldhouse was the star for Royal Clayton, who were worthy winners over one of the cup favourites Oakworth Juniors.
Fieldhouse hit the target in the first half and then ran from the halfway line for his second near the end to clinch Clayton's 2-0 win.
In the Premier Division, midfielder Rob Ellis was Queensbury's man of the match. Bury made amends for missing first-half chances with three goals without reply in the second period against visitors Chellow. Mick Naylor (2) and Nathan Hargreaves shared the goals.
In a tight game at Oakenshaw between second and third in the top Division, West Bowling's 2-1 win sees them back in second place behind Albion Sports.
In front through their manager Justin Malone, Oakenshaw conceded two goals in the five minutes before half-time to Chris Wood and Cory Larvin.
In Division One, Westwood finally got their first win together with a 3-1 success at Eastward.
Richard Feeley scored for Eastward and Ward's former player Paul Craythorne was on Westwood's scoresheet.
Bradford Park Avenue, who paraded three new strikers in Wayne Campbell (Ventus), Brent Netzler (Saltaire Rangers) and Billy Swialek (Eccleshill) strengthened their title hopes with a 6-1 win over Wibsey WMC.
Lacking in concentration in the final quarter, Buttershaw White Star, who were cruising at 3-0 through Leigh Bialek (2) and Keil Baron, nearly came unstuck when Eccleshill CC pulled two goals back through Matt Hannan.
In Division 1A ,White Horse came from behind with two Jamie Hepworth goals but were beaten by a late winner from George Hotel, who had a two-goal performance from Danny Day.
Dave Elridge, who hit his first goal after 30 thirty seconds, scored all Hudson's goals in their 4-2 win over Oddfellows Athletic.
A veteran from Queensbury's side for 20 years, Martin Bland got Queensbury Reserves' winner in their 2-1 victory at QCs.
Bishop Rovers kept up the pressure at the top with a 2-0 win at Baildon Trinity with goals from Ebad Rashid and Navid Saveed Sidique.
In a match much closer than it sounds, Ventus Sports settled their game with two goals just before and one after half-time to run out 6-1 winners over Clayton Orient.
In Division 1B, Jonah Sunday, returning after two months' suspension, was White Eagles' hero in their 3-3 draw with Ventus United, scoring a hat-trick.
Also on hat-trick duty was Steve Cyzewsky, who hit all the goals in Wibsey WMC Reserves' 3-0 win in their derby game with Waggoners.
The Division 1B title favourites Crown kept another clean sheet in a 4-0 win at Chellow Reserves.
