Andrew Taylor is willing City all the way to the play-offs.

The young full back is keeping his fingers crossed that Colin Todd's men can make the top six this season - even though it will have to be

without him.

Taylor returned to Middlesbrough this week after his season-long loan was cut short. But he will still follow City's fortunes avidly.

"I wish the lads all the best because they've been brilliant with me. They all made me feel welcome and with a bit of luck they can easily still make the play-offs," he said.

"I'm also very grateful to the fans and to the staff for helping me progress, especially Colin Todd and Bobby Davison. Before this season I didn't really have much experience at first-team level so Colin took a bit of a risk with me and I thank him for that.

"I think it's worked out well for both myself and the club. I've been very happy playing for Bradford and I hope they've been pleased with how I have performed."

Taylor missed only two league games, both through illness, during his Valley Parade stay and admitted he left the club with mixed feelings.

"I was really starting to feel like a proper Bradford player and part of the set-up so it came as a shock to get the phone call from Middlesbrough. I always knew they could take me back but I had been told I would be staying for the time-being because they didn't need me. But Franck Queudrue got injured last week and could be out for two months and maybe that was a factor.

"It happened so suddenly that my boots were still down at Valley Parade!

"Obviously I'm pleased that I will hopefully get the opportunity to play in the first team in the Premier League. If I don't play I'll be missing out on gaining more experience. It's quite difficult but at the end of the day, it's not my decision."
