Mick Withers makes a belated first appearance of the new year for the Bulls on Sunday.
The Aussie full back was due to feature in the friendly against Warrington on Monday but fell ill on the morning of the match.
Having now recovered from the flu, Withers is pencilled in at No 1 for the club's second warm-up match against National League Two side Dews-bury Rams this weekend.
He will be the only first-team regular in the starting 13 as boss Brian Noble again sends out a second-string side made up mainly of Senior Academy players.
Withers returned to training yesterday when all the Bulls squad were handed a tough work-out.
Assistant coach Steve McNamara said: "The Dewsbury game is another opportunity for the young kids at the club to make their mark.
"But we want to stress that we are not easing back on anyone. The training is now well underway and they are getting pushed until their fitness is as good as can be. They are going to be tired.
"If the players are not looking quite as sharp as they should be against Dewsbury, they will be when the right time comes."
Youngster Mark Flanagan replaces Stanley Gene at stand-off and his brother - under-18s product George Flanagan - gets his first taste of action at hooker.
Props Joe Vagana and Adam Watene will get a shot off the bench.
BULLS: Withers, Halley, Atkins, Feenan, Smith, M Flanagan, Brooks, Tonks, G Flanagan, James, Szostak, Cook, Ferres. Subs: Vagana, Watene, Kopczak, Hawley, Helliwell, Shackleton, Wildey.
