Kyla Brox, the UK's first lady of the blues, begins the 2006 season at Keighley's Spectrum Blues Club on January 20.
The show, already sold out, will -- like all Spectrum concerts -- take place at St Anne's Social Centre on Spring Gardens Lane.
Coming up are Traffiker led by top guitarist Tommy Allen (February 10); blues, jump-jive and swing band Cadillac Kings (March 3 or 10); and US acoustic duo Paul Rishell and Annie Raines.

All this is offered tonight at the Bacca Pipes Folk Club as Gordon Tyrrall makes his annual New Year appearance.
Gordon has been singing and playing flute and guitar professionally since 1979, concentrating on traditional music.
He first played with Celtic band Iona and the exuberant Dab Hand, then more recently with Brian Peters and Maggie Boyle.

The Haworth musician and broadcaster Tim Moon interviews both Fay and Demon Barbers fiddler Bryony Griffith.The 64-page magazine also has its usual selection of club and performer news, listings, and live and CD reviews.
The magazine reveals that Keighley-based folk singer Maggie Boyle is at the Polaris Folk Club, in the Star Inn, Liversedge, on January 26.
n Grace Notes, the female harmony trio featuring Maggie, Helen Hockenhull and Linda Hardcastle, the year is at Otley Folk Club, in Korks wine bar, on March 29.
Reviews include albums by Kate Rusby, Pauline Cato and John McCormick, and the final column by long-time contributer Chris "Sid Kipper" Sugden.
