Bradford Dudley Hill lost their first game of the season yesterday when they went down at Bramley.
The home side went ahead after eight minutes when Paul Drake landed a penalty.
But Bradford hit back five minutes later when Liam Jordan touched down.
After the ball was kept alive, the big second row crashed over the Bramley line making the score 4-2. Tony Williams obliged with the conversion giving Bradford a 6-2 lead.
After 33 minutes, Mark Gibson found a rare gap in the Bradford defensive line to score a try which Drake
converted.
Just before half-time, Scott Pendlebury increased Bramley's lead again finding a gap to cross Bradford's try line. Drake again converted giving Bramley a 14-6 interval lead.
On the restart Sean Flynn went over after a good handling move from the Bramley side, Drake's boot again adding the extras to make it 20-6.
Then, after 60 minutes, Paul Gledhill replied for Bradford showing
persistence and presence of mind to go over. Tony Williams converted.
Flynn, though, hit back with another try, this time Drake missing the
conversion attempt.
Bradford's Neil Wall then scored the try of the game which Williams converted giving Bradford hope of a draw - but it was too late.
