Guiseley AFC goalkeeper Steve Dickinson has asked to be put on the transfer list at his own request.
It is understood that the 'keeper -regarded as one of the best in non-league football - is hoping to be picked up by a Football League club.
He started out as a junior with Bradford City and since coming to Guiseley has had trials with Scarborough, Barnsley and Wolves.
Dickinson has made 276 appearances for Guiseley and is the only ever present in the side this season.
Guiseley manager Steve Richards confirmed that Dickinson had requested a tranfer.
'He has 18 months of his contract with us to run but if he wants to leave there is no point in stopping him. He will only go of course if we get what we value him at, otherwise he stays where he is.'
