A GUISELEY man was attacked in his own home and robbed of property worth £12,150.

While the man was watching television at his home in Fairway, Tranmere Park, at about 7pm on Friday evening, he heard a noise. On investigating he was confronted by three masked men.

"He was bundled into the kitchen and his hands and legs were bound with a telephone flex which had been rippped from the wall," said Det Inspector Steve O'Callaghan, of Weetwood Police.

"The man, aged 49, was then thumped in the back, assaulted and made to lie face down on the floor. Demands were made for money and they stole his Rolex watch worth £12,000 and £150 cash," he added.

Det Insp O'Callaghan believes the thieves had climbed into the house by a rear window. They left by a side entrance.

The three men are white and all about 5ft 9ins tall and of medium build. They were wearing black balaclavas.
