A youth received injuries to his face during a disturbance in Keighley's Airedale Centre on Saturday.
The incident occurred at 2.20pm when two groups of men clashed in the Cooke Lane area of the shopping centre.
The 17-year-old was injured with what is believed to be a butterfly knife, which was later recovered. His injuries are not thought to have been serious.
Security guards broke up the clash and the suspects ran off down Queensway towards the Hanover Street area.
Keighley police would like to speak to three men in connection with the incident.
One is described as Asian and is believed to be called 'Icky' and from the Bradford area. He is aged around 18-19, 5ft 10ins tall and of slim build. He was wearing a yellow fleece top with black on the arms. He was in the company of two other men also of Asian appearance.
