BrontE Country Tourism (BCT) makes its third appearance - and launches its brand-new Internet website - at this year's annual British Travel Trade Fair on March 25/26 at Birmingham NEC.
Keighley-based BCT is looking to build on the area-promoting success already achieved through past representation at what is the UK's leading showcase targeted at the domestic and inbound travel and tourism industry.
BCT manager Carolyn Spencer and her team, who will take their place in a Yorkshire section at the show, are geared up to promote all aspects of Bront' Country, which encompasses an area stretching from Bradford to North Craven.
Carolyn said: "We have already set up advance appointments with group buyers from the travel industry, as well as with leading travel writers.
"We will also be personally representing our 70-plus members, providing information on their behalf to influential visitors to the showpiece event.
"The launch of our new website is a major event in itself. The site has been completely redesigned by one of the country's top web design agencies and offers users a number of advanced new features and far more comprehensive information to encourage people from around the world to visit the area.
"We are confident the new website will become one of the key resources on the Internet for the UK travel industry."
Councillor Barry Thorne, Bradford Council's Chairman of Leisure Services, praised Bront' Country Tourism for its continuing efforts to raise the area's profile. "The organisation has had phenomenal success in attracting visitors to the area both from at home and abroad.
"The spin-offs to local tourism-related businesses and the district's economy in general has been significant and looks set to be further enhanced in the future," he said.
