Cross HillS-based PS Turner has won a £10 million contract to build a primary school in Manchester.
The construction company has been appointed preferred developer by Manchester City Council to build Temple School, one of only 23 local government private finance initiatives across the country to be given the go-ahead.
Marketing director Mike Smith says: "The Temple School project is one of the first of its kind, and we are delighted to be part of it.
"As developers we form part of a consortium which will operate the school under a 25-year contract, providing everything to keep the school operational - right down to the cleaning and maintenance."
