YOUNG pup Abbie is getting used to the limelight after securing her spot in the Crufts hall of fame.
The 11-month-old Large Munsterlander is top of the pooches after winning Best Puppy in Breed at the doggy Mecca this month.
Abbie - whose 'stage' name is Daleander Endless Love - is following in the paws of mum Reba who graced the pages of the Gazette Midweek almost exactly a year ago when she was pregnant with a litter of eight mini Munsterlanders.
And owner Wendy Lacy, of Moor Park Drive, Addingham, is thrilled with her success.
"I'm really pleased because she is our first home-bred puppy and she's an absolutely super dog," she said.
"At Crufts we kept getting stopped by people asking for pictures and various companies have said they're interested in following it up."
Mrs Lacy started showing Reba - or Ghyllbeck Adalia, to give her full name - when she was also 11 months and was bitten by the bug of showing.
"I had no intention of doing it at first but now it's my hobby," she said.
"Abbie's had six shows and five wins and we will keep showing."
And mother and daughter remain a popular sight through Addingham where people can catch a glimpse of the Crufts champion on her daily walks.
