Paul Jewell writes: We were not at our best but we battled away. Maybe we have been unlucky in some matches, but I think this was a pay-back.
There are no two ways about it - we were fortunate.
Football doesn't make sense. The week before we got a point at West Brom where we dominated the match. We got the runabout against Birmingham and still got a point.
Mark Prudhoe is an inspiration to young players. He came in at Stockport in January and did very well, but he was dropped straight away.
I was pleased with his performance although I wasn't happy that he had so much to do. He has worked even harder knowing that if he got his chance again he was going to take it. He is an inspiration to all players who are out of the team for any reason.
I am pleased with his display because our supporters have not seen the best of him. He was magnificent and his performance was one of the positive things to come out of the game.
I saw Birmingham play at Sunderland in midweek and I didn't want to tell the players how well they played - they were so much better than Sunderland.
I was impressed with Sunderland and how hard they work, but Birmingham work even harder. In fact, Birmingham are the hardest working team in our division and they have got plenty of qualities to go with that.
I knew we were in for a tough game and I am well pleased with the point. I was disappointed with our performance. Having said that, if we play well and lose I am usually sick.
