Full Monty star Steve Huison has been stripping off again - this time to try on his "Oscars" suit at a Shipley clothes shop.
The actor, who lives in Shipley, will be sipping champagne with other cast from the blockbuster movie at the most famous awards ceremony in Hollywood.
And he has ditched designer labels in favour of a suit given to him by Henry Smith's Menswear, who have kitted him out as a thank you for his regular custom.
Steve, 35, said: "I've had an Armani suit before and there was no difference between that and other suits.
"The Oscars really are a fashion catwalk, but I wanted something that I would be comfortable in. There was no point travelling 200 miles down to London just for a designer label when I could get a good quality one on my doorstep."
Steve said he only received confirmation that he would be going to the Oscars on Saturday, along with four other members of the cast.
He said: "The Oscars are really the pinnacle of the film industry and I'm looking forward to it, although I'm taking it all in my stride.
"I've been to other awards such as the Golden Globes, so I'm getting used to what to expect.
"I'm keeping an open mind about whether The Full Monty will win any Oscars, as there's a lot of competition. It's nice to be nominated, but you don't go there expecting to win."
Steve, who earned about £10,000 for his role as Lomper, said he had been amazed by the success of the film.
"When we were making it we knew that it was good. ," he confessed. "But it was impossible to conceive that it was going to become the biggest grossing British film ever.
"Every day something seems to happen and it just seems to have snowballed. We made the film in 1996 so it seems to have taken over my life.
"The Oscars will be a turning point because once they're over it will all die down and then it's back to normality.
"People expect you to be a millionaire, but I'm just a working actor. I'm happy in Shipley and have no intention of moving to London or LA."
Now Steve, who has had parts in Emmerdale and Coronation Street, has finished filming a BBC drama and he is writing an adaptation of a play to be taken around schools.
Ernest Newall, part owner of Henry Smith's Menswear in Briggate, said: "Steve first came in to see us when he wanted a suit for the British Comedy Awards. We fixed one up for him in an hour before he caught the train down to London.
"It's a case of a local lad supporting a local firm. Steve is very down to earth and hasn't let anything go to his head.
But Mr Newall admitted that he hasn't seen The Full Monty yet. "I've tried to see it at the cinema twice, but it's always been sold out," he said. "But I'll definitely be watching it on video."
