Bradford Bulls coach Matthew Elliott believes Sunday's hastily-arranged friendly with St Helens will prove invaluable in his preparation for the new Super League season.
The Bulls coach said: "We have been looking for a competitive game for the last couple of weeks and, fortunately for us, we managed to get St Helens.
"We contacted a few clubs to see who would be available, but I am very pleased to get a side of St Helens' quality.
"The game is important for us as it gives the players a run-out before Super League gets underway."
Both clubs are expected to field strong sides, although Bulls will be without hooker James Lowes, who has undergone a knee operation, and there is a doubt over Great Britain prop Brian McDermott, who has a rib injury.
Admission prices for the ground will be £6 (adult), £3 (child) and, for the stand, £9 (adult) and £4 (child). The club will also be providing a top-quality entertainment package, with a live band, a bouncy castle and face-painting.
The package will be presented by Chris Hiles.
