Rugby Union: Although little has been certain in Bradford and Bingley's topsy-turvy season, their safety in North Division Two should be assured by tomorrow tea-time.
A win over third-from-bottom York would do it, but an even likelier source of comfort would be anything but a victory for Halifax at second-placed Blaydon.
The Bees are without Andy Murphy (broken nose) and Richard Head (unavailable) in the pack, but back comes Richard Hagerty, Dave Pullen reverting to his more familiar role of hooker and Peter Watts playing at flanker.
In the backs, Jeremy Marr is on the right wing after a prolonged lay-off, Nick Cummins returning at scrum half.
Keighley, safely promoted back to North East Division One - although probably not as champions - make the short trip to Otley Saracens for a club match.
Their only change comes in the back row, Mark Lister dropping to the bench to rest a niggling injury. Darren Close reverts to No 8, Peter Southgate slotting into the second row.
Baildon, who are quietly confident of promotion from Yorkshire Division Four, are also in club action at Yorkshire Division Five Rowntrees.
With lock Chris Holt out for the season with knee ligament damage, Richard Crooks is included in a squad of 20.
Simon Glenn is back after suspension, and Kiwi Shane Frampton is another name that stands out.
He had a good game at centre last weekend in the 21-15 home win over Leeds Trojans that preserved the Jenny Laners' unbeaten home record.
Skipton, who have won the Yorkshire Cup three times (1903, 1904 and 1912), get a rare taste of glory on Sunday when they face Leeds Corinthians at Wagon Lane in the Independent Agriculture Yorkshire Silver Trophy final (2.30).
Corinthians, only founded in 1956 and based at Middleton, South Leeds, have never won a Yorkshire knockout competition, but they go into this final as favourites. Both clubs are in Yorkshire Division Three, with Corinthians fourth in the table with eight wins out of 15 and Skipton four places below them with just three victories.
Dudley Hill RL club will have their bar profits boosted on Tuesday when they stage a varsity RU match between Bradford and Huddersfield (7.30).
The facilities have been donated free, and 60 per cent of the turnstile revenue will go to Oxfam. Admission is £4. Bradford establishments Delius Lived Next Door and the Queen's Hall are supporting the event with special drinks offers for ticket-holders and free entry to the post match party.
