Bradford City are facing a mounting injury crisis ahead of tomorrow's trip to relegation-threatened Tranmere.
City boss Paul Jewell's plans have been hit by knocks to several key players with strikers Edinho and John McGinlay both expected to miss the game.
Talented winger Peter Beagrie is also rated "very doubtful" due to a hamstring injury he picked up during the goalless draw with Birmingham.
Dennis Sepp, who scored for the reserves in their 2-2 draw at Shrewsbury, is also struggling while goalkeeper Gary Walsh has not trained this week due to his father being seriously ill.
However Jewell remains confident his side can end their barren away run which has seen them win just five points in their last 12 games away from Valley Parade.
.He said: "The injuries appear to be coming thick and fast at the moment but it is something we must take in our stride.
"Beagrie's hamstring went early in the Birmingham game. He had been complaining about a stiff thigh but it turned out to be his hamstring. Dennis Sepp has also taken a knock on his knee and was pretty sore yesterday.
"Edinho is not fit due to a hamstring problem and McGinlay is struggling with a chest infection.
"We had hoped to play him in the reserves on Wednesday at Shrewsbury but he wasn't fit.
"Add to this John Dreyer's long term foot injury and we are down to a thin squad but on the plus side Darren Moore came through an hour in the reserves.
"We will have to wait and see see after training whether he can be involved. We will have a roll call on Saturday."
Following their 3-0 defeat at Huddersfield, Tranmere are perched precariously just above the relegation zone.
Rovers' player-manager John Aldridge, who scored when they inflicted City's last home defeat in November, is expected to play but Jewell is hoping to give City's travelling followers something to cheer.
"I was bitterly disappointed for the fans when we only drew at West Brom.
"They have been great and really behind us. I just hope they can stay with us and keep us going.
"We had them watched last week at Huddersfield. Three-nil tells its own story but they are on their home patch though and don't concede many goals, so it should be a tight game."
