Keighley'S girl cricketers claimed third place in a tournament at Lords last weekend.
Claire Atkinson, Anna Spragg and Laura Spragg were flying Yorkshire's White Rose flag as part of a Sheffield-based team in the competition.
They won through to the finals of the Women's Cricket Association's Under-19 indoor six-a-side competition after winning the Northern Regional qualifying event.
Fifteen-year-old Laura Spragg is a reserve for next month's tour of South Africa by the England Women's Under-21 squad.
At Lords the three Keighley girls batted and bowled superbly, but had some difficulty coming to terms with the special techniques required in indoor cricket.
"The competition was a tremendous success, and everyone said it has been very enjoyable," said a spokesman for the Women's Cricket Association.
