Craven have only lost three games all season, but New Inn who have only won three, gave them a real fright. It was only in the later stages that Craven finally took control of the game.
Athletic scored in the 15th minute after continual end to end play and added two more before the break. However, New Inn gave as good as they got also scoring three to go in with the scores level at the break.
Craven scored three more goals in the second half, but it was not until late in the game after New Inn caved in and allowed Athletic through to a place in the semi-final of the Cup.
New Inn scorers were Simon Marriot, Steve Buckley and Adrian Dacres.
Skipton 8

If it's goals you want then this was thematch tobe at with a total of 13 in a game which needed extra time to decide who would line-up in the semi-finals.
Skipton went two up before the visitors fought back. White Horse hammered in three to take a slender one goal lead at the interval. The home broke through to equalise after the break. They swapped further goals to be level at 4-4 when the full-time whistle went.
The home team took command in extra time scoring four goals while the visitors only found the back of the net once. Skipton scorers were Nigel Dawson, Bart Vaughan, Ian Tyrer (3) and substitute Peter Jones. Bingley scorers were Andrew Sunderland and Andrew Nelson (4).

Aire Valley 2
Golden Fleece 0
New Manager Colin Myers, in his third game, has still not been able to turn round Fleece's fortunes. They went down to two first half goals, but Myers managed to tighten his defence for the second period to make sure they didn't concede more goals. Johnny Lawrence scored both goals for Aire Valley.
Brown Cow 3
Knowle Arms 4
Brown Cow's small squad is still ravaged by injuries and they could only field 10 men against Knowle, but gave a good account of themselves. They slipped to defeat by just one goal with Jawad Hussain scoring twice for Cow while and own goal gave them their third.
Crown 6
Lord Rodney 1
Crown slammed six goals past Lord Rodney as the fought back strongly after an even first half. Tim O'Connor's solitary goal was the only thing that separated the two sides at the break with no indication of what was to come.
Crown's 'nap hand' came from Kabire Hussain (2), Zaheer Gafoor, Shabir Basher and Tim O'Connor.
Ian Smith scored a 35-yard consolation effort for Lord Rodney.
Boltmakers 3
Keighley Juniors 3
A strong swirling windspoilt this Keighley FA Sunday Cup encounter and they remained level at three-all after extra time. They are to replay on March 29. Phoenix meet Craven Athletic in the other semi-final this Sunday. The match, at Marley, kicks off at 2pm.
