THE latest supermarket plans for Settle are due to go before Craven District Council's planning committee on Monday. Planners are expected to decide whether or not to give permission to EH Booth to build a store on land belonging to Stan Jordan at Sowarth with car parking, a school and playground on Bond Lane field. Members of the committee are recommended by officers to grant permission. Meanwhile, the public inquiry into Yorkshire Cooperative's applications for Ashfield, and Booth's second revised scheme for Bond Lane (without Stan Jordan's land) has been rearranged for May 27 to 29 and June 30 to July 3.
