Keighley's SRB Partnership Board has approved grants which will enable local businesses to expand or improve their premises. The awards will go before Keighley Area Panel for ratification on April 8.

NSF Controls has been awarded £4,500 for improvements to its Ingrow Bridge premises. The work will concentrate on improving the access and reception area, along with new signs, repairs to drainage and landscaping.

AG Autopoint will receive £2,000 towards the cost of alterations to the reception and display area, which will enable the firm to make better use of the available space.

Keighley Industrial Units, owners of Aireworth Mills, Aireworth Road, will receive up to £3,000 for a feasibility study into possible changes to allow better use to be made of the premises. The SRB Board wants the company to look at bringing the whole of the building back into use.

Sign and Design at Heber Street has been granted £952 towards a feasibility study into possible extension and re-organisation of its premises, to allow an increase in production space.

Asset Womenswear has been awarded £3,500 towards the cost of refurbishing a vacant shop at 37, The Arcade, to a modern standard.It will be an extension of the original Asset Menswear business.
