FA SUNDAY CUP
semi-final
Phoenix 1
Craven Athletic 3
Phoenix turned in one of the worst performances of the season as the Keighley FA Sunday Cup slipped from their grasp. Craven scored the only goal ofthe first half and hit the net again just after the re-start.
With 15 minutes togo Phoenix were awarded a free kick 25 yards out and Carl Hartas' rocket shot gave the keeper no chance.
It was only then that Phoenix really started to play, but as they searched for an equaliser Craven found an opening at the back to score a third just before the final whistle.
On Sunday Keighley Juniors and Boltmakers Arms meet again in the Keighley FA Cup semi-final replay at Marley (ko 2pm).
