PHOENIX fought out a 0-0 draw with second placed Greetland with both teams pushing hard for goals.
However, defences were on top form and Greetland should have secured both points, but missed a penalty.
Sean Bonner and Rob Horton were the pick of the Phoenix team.
Tomorrow Phoenix are at home to Yeadon/Ventus and hope for a better performance to get them back to winning ways.
Phoenix Reserves again had Darren Maddocks to thank for their push for promotion after he headed home Roy Mason's cross to seal an unlikely victory over Hunsworth.
In fact Phoenix were behind for most of the game. Liam Daley had an early chance but mis-cued from close range.
Ben McCormack equalised 10 minutes from time and with time running out Maddocks sealed it.
