Debate over the future of European Monetory Union has already given a Bradford firm a major boost.
Marketing By Design, based in Wellcroft, Manor Lane, Shipley, played the vital role of promoting the high-profile Great Euro Debate - Implications for Yorkshire Business at the Royal Armouries in Leeds.
The event, which was sponsored by Ilkley-based RBR Insurance Group and Horwath Clark Whitehiil, which has an office in Bradford, brought together top thinkers on Europe.
Former Defence Secretary Michael Portillo and Stan Hardy, chairman of the Yorkshire Ridings branch of the Institute of Directors, argued against monetary union.
The Euro-supporters were Ian Taylor MP, a former Tory front bench spokesman on Europe and Hugh Morgan Williams, chairman of Canford plc. Stephen Clarke, of the Bank pof England, warned bosses against ignoring the arrival of EMU next January.
The Bradford firm was commissioned to create an image for the event and produce promotional material along with a direct mail campaign about it and staging.
The firm's business development manager Jonathan Pratt said: "This was a challenge. A lot of people are very much in the dark over the Euro and our brief was to point out the implications."
