Cancer victim Lynda Fox will be buried in the same outfit she wore for a final makeover before she lost her battle with the deadly disease.
Lynda, 44, sported the lemon blouse and trousers for a photo shoot arranged by the Telegraph & Argus last Friday, fulfilling her 'greatest' wish to have a photograph for her family to treasure.
The clothes were given to her by Bradford mail order clothing company Grattan, where Lynda once worked as a customer services' operator.
Tragically the following morning Lynda, of Dawson Mount, Bierley, lost her fight against the disease in Bradford Royal Infirmary's cancer unit Ward 15.
Her devastated four sisters and two brothers were all due to pay their respects at her funeral which takes place today at Nab Wood Crematorium.
One of Lynda's elder sisters Dorothy Scargill, 52, told the T&A: "Lyn will be wearing her 'Little Going Away Outfit', as I call it, when she's buried.
"She was unique. I've never known anybody else like her. I know everybody that has cancer is brave but she was amazing.
"We've said family flowers only at the funeral. We are all making donations to Lyn's appeal and all her friends are donating towards this ward so we can get as much as we can to help more people that have to suffer like Lyn.
"On the Saturday morning when she died the support and the compassion from all the staff on Ward 15 towards all of us was outstanding. They were lovely.
"We all look back on Friday and what Lyn did for us. She did say that after the makeover then she would give up."
Mike Craig, manager at RIVA Bingo where Lynda used to go with her friends, said the Lynda Fox Appeal, which was set up before she died, had already raised more than £300.
He said: "We want to raise £1,000 by August 24. The idea is to be the first to donate £1,000 to the Marie Curie Cancer Centre which will is going to be built in Bradford.
"The customers have all taken Lyn's death very badly, everyone is shell-shocked, but we want to carry on with the appeal. I think Lyn would have wanted that."
If you would like to make a donation make your cheques payable to The Lynda Fox Appeal and send them to Mike Craig, at Riva Bingo, Weaverthorpe Retail Park, Tong Street, BD4 9LU.
