WE'RE on course for a Top Five finish, despite Wednesday's little hiccup, and now have a squad which is a match for anyone in the division.

I was more than a little unhappy with our result against Hunslet, but having watched the video through we put together some good play, particularly in defence.

If we show the commitment and the endeavour we showed then we will certainly win the majority of games. Our downfall was not controlling the football, quite simply we didn't have enough possession and there were quite a few unforced errors.

The name of the game is keeping hold of the ball, and then taking your chances.

Hunslet grabbed theirs with both hands and we missed the odd one.

WE are in training today, and then the lads will get a weekend off and be back at the ground on Monday bright eyed and bushy tailed, ready for some hard work.

Hull KR won't be easy and are obviously playing well, but there is no one we must fear.

BUT even before we meet Hull KR I hope to see many of you at Victoria Hall on Tuesday night.

I've seen a bit of the video footage which will be shown and it looks fantastic, and there is more to come.

All the lads will be there to meet their fans and I'm told there will also be quite a few of the Cougar Old Boys coming along to help things go with a swing.

We will also be among the first clubs to launch our own scratch card which will help give the finances of the club a boost, and we will be looking to the future.

I'm told the shows in the past were really superb affairs with a cracking atmosphere, and I hope this will be bigger and even better than before.
