Friends who got to know one another through the Haworth Hobble are planning to go the distance - by biking across Ireland and England.
Brian Milner and Keith Emerson, from Silsden and Steeton respectively, and Bradford's Harry Bond are no strangers to the saddle. They've cycled the length of Britain and between the three national peaks - climbing to the summits with their bikes on their backs.
But now they want to tackle the ultimate ride, a 600-plus-mile trek from Slea Head, Kerry, in south west Ireland to Lowestoft in Suffolk. The trio will raise funds for Keighley's Braithwaite school where Brian works.
Besides the Land's End to John o' Groats and Three Peaks rides in 1989 and 1991, the friends have done off-roaders, the Coast to Coast and the Glasgow to Inverness.
If you want to sponsor them, ring Brian at Braithwaite school on 603041.
