Keighley riders were to the fore in last weekend's West Yorkshire road Race Championships.
The divisional competition was held over a Hilly 82-mile course at Denby Dale, Huddersfield and riders had to contend with torrential downpours throughout the event.
A break of 15 riders formed on the second lap, which included five Keighley riders. They were Daniel Fox and Tim Gill of Pace Racing/Pace Satellite Systems, Lloyd Kellett of Bronte Wheelers, Seth Smith of Silsden and Chris Ainsley of VC Voodoo.
With two laps remaining Lloyd Kellett escaped with Gary proud of Featherstone, only to be caught with one lap to go.
At the finish Ian Holmes of VC York won and Danny Fox took the sprint for third place. Lloyd Kellett finished well in sixth as did Chris Ainsley in 7th, Tim Gill 8th and Seth Smith 12th.
