WHAT a super show ... Tuesday night's performance really was something else, and I don't just mean the videos on the big screen.
No doubt it was great for all the fans to watch the films of good times in the past, but now we are all looking to the future.
The one thing that really impressed me on the night was the number of people who packed into Victoria Hall.
I'm sure a lot of other clubs in the league think poor old Keighley just wouldn't be able to put on a show like that - but the real stars were the Cougar fans, young and old, who packed into the hall.
The atmosphere was absolutely electric and I know that really came through to the players.
They all enjoyed it, especially the new boys, who didn't know what to expect and were really surprised by what they saw, and they way the fans showed just how enthusiastic they can be.
I THINK that night will give everybody an extra edge on Sunday, and we have an exciting team out. I think it is the strongest side I have had on the field and we can certainly give anybody a game now.
No one will want to keep running into Adam Fogerty and Lee Hansen, and when you look down the team sheet the squad is awesome.
We are very nearly a superb team, now all we have to do is getting everybody working together as a team, pulling together and looking after each other on the field.
It won't be long and this squad will really be showing the rest of the league what it is made of.
I WOULD also like to than young Saima Rhaman for the new strip she has designed for us, I can't wait for it to go into production.
It's no secret that I have told our kit man that we don't want to play in the old red strip - if we can help it.
Allan Clarkson told the story of club chairman taking it home to give it the Persil test, and although he washed it and washed it, that shade of red kept coming up grubby looking.
WE could do with a could crowd to give us backing at Hull, so I hope as many fans as possible will make the trip to the end of the M62. I think the boys will be able to make the trip home a really happy journey.
