THE Seidokan Karate team was on top form at the recent Durham and Middlesborough Open Championships.
At Durham Sue Haraker was second and Richard Sellars third in the cadet kata. Matthew Denison was 1st and Bob Haraker 3rd in the junior kata and Richard Sallars won the under-13 fighting with Jason Vo in second place.
Ben Bottomley won the boys under-16 fighting with Chris Rigg second and Sue Hardaker won the under-16 girls fighting.
James Elliott was 1st in the under-18 boys fighting with Bob Hardaker third. James Elliott, Richard Sellars, Chris Rigg and Matthew Denison were 1st in the boys team competition.
At Middlesborough Matthew Denison won the junior cadet kata, Bob Hardaker was second in the men's open kata.
Jason Vo was third in the under 5ft boys fighting and Sue Hardaker won the girls under 5ft 2ins fighting..
Mel Busfield was second in the ladies fighting and Bob Hardaker third in the junior men's fighting.
Ben Bottomley, Richard Sellars and Jason Vo won the boys team event with team mates Chris Rigg, Ryan Golding and Matthew Penison second.
