It is a great honour to be able to salute five-year-old Hannah Jackson for her actions when her dad collapsed at their remote moorland home. She followed the golden rule book - remembering her 'keeping safe' lessons from school - and probably saved her dad Stuart's life.

After raising the alarm, she ran half a mile to get more help - even remembering to lock the family dogs in the porch so they didn't run off.

What a heart warming story. Well done Hannah. You deserve the highest praise possible.
