Bride Ruth Helen Newsham landed a fortune on Saturday - Simon John Fortune!

Ruth - only daughter of David and Jennifer Newsham, of Wheathead Lane, Keighley - was married at Exley Head Methodist Church to Simon, younger son of Jeffrey and Jean Fortune, of High Oak Garth, Oakworth.

Ruth works at Harrison and Clough in Keighley, and Simon at D.W. Norris Ltd in Shipley.

The bride wore an ivory satin dress, beaded bodice with cut-out lace train, and a three-quarter-length veil edeged in matt satin. Her head-dress comprised satin rosebuds with sequins and pearls, and she carried a bouquet of cream and red roses with ivy and mixed foliage.

Chief bridesmaid Mary Newsham (bride's cousin) wore a claret dress and a flower comb in her hair, and she carried cream and red carnations.

Other bridesmaids Shona and Katie Wilde wore claret bo-peep-style dresses with ivory sashes and bows, and carried hoops with small displays of red and cream carnations.

A guard of honour was provided by 3rd Keighley Brownies.Page boy was Thomas Wilde.

Best man was Mathew Paxford and ushers were Lee Jason Fortune (bridegroom's brother) and Richard David Newsham (bride's brother).
