Members of the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway are hoping that their planning application to change the use of a shop in Mill Hey, Haworth, into offices will win the support of Bradford council planners.
Volunteers have been running the railway, which has a turnover of £500,000 a year, from their own homes. But business has grown to such an extent that paperwork, office equipment and administration need to be brought together under one roof. If approved, the new office will not be open to the public. But it will include a small meeting room.
