RAIN once again affected matches in the Millet Printers Evening League with only Khalsa and Pudsey St Lawrence completing their fixture last Thursday. Matches were abandoned at Hall Park and Farsley leaving Adel still at the top of the league by one point from Baildon and Farsley.

Adel, Baildon and Farsley have so far qualified for the trophy semi-finals home advantage being determined after this week's matches.

There was better luck on Tuesday when all three scheduled games were played.

Adel beat Hall Park by 20 runs after making 94-6 despite Robert Murphy taking 3-20. Park replied with 74-7.

Farsley defeated Pudsey St Lawrence by ten runs after making 154-6. Matthew Doidge hit 38 and Richard Gould 45 while for Saints Adrian Rooke took 4-35.

Saints made 144-2 in reply with skipper Chris Gott leading the way with an unbeaten 50 and Iain Priestley making 36.

Baildon defeated Khalsa by 42 runs after being restricted to 98-6 with S Davies making 35.

In Thurdsday's games Khalsa beat Pudsey St Lawrence by 13 runs after making 102-4 with G Singh hitting an unbeaten 45. Pudsey replied with 89-7.

Hall Park's game against Baildon was abandoned with Park on 17-1.

Farsley's game against Adel was also abandoned with Farsley on 25-0.

Tonight, Thursday, matches are - Adel v Farsley, Baildon v Pudsey St Lawrence, Hall Park v Khalsa.
