Silsden were involved in a double header with Follifoot which brought failure for both the first and second teams.

The 1st XI travelled to Folifoot where they batted first, scoring 129-9 off 27 overs in a rain effected game. John Akrigg batted well making 50, but from 108-4 the team collapsed with 5 wickets falling for only 17 runs.

D Butler profited most taking 3-43 off his 13 overs.

In response Folifoot eased through to 131 for the loss of just 4 wickets. Opener N Walker got the side off to a good start with a half century and was ably supported by M Taylor and B Smart who both made 28.

Silsden seconds faired little better again batting first they struggled to 107-7 off their 40 overs. I Sagar top scored with 21 as the home side's batsman struggled to get going. S Ledger took took 4-49 and M Richardson 3-22 as the bowlers took control. Follifoot's seconds followed in their firsts footsteps in knocking off the runs for the loss of four wickets to complete another six wicket victory. Although the Silsden bowler's made steady progress the total was too small to defend with .Townsend making 52 for the visitors. M.Hardwick claimed 3-33 but it was all in vain.

Steeton seconds followed in the fortunes of their neighbours as they also went down, this time to Beckwithshaw. In a game reduced to 42 overs because of the weather, Steeton lost the toss and were put into bat scoring 164-5. Skipper Gary Boulton and Neil Wilson both scoring 57.

Beckwithshaw contributed to a nail biting finish, hitting the winning runs in the final over with three wickets to spare. Ian Hudson top scored for the visitors with 37 as G Williamson took 4-34.
