AS preparations for the new season commence with pre-season trainig on Wednesday, July 1, Aireborough RUFC are determined to put the disappointment of relegation behind them.
As they found last season the margin between success and failure is very small.
With matches being lost by only a few points missed chances can prove very expensive.
The club has learned from this experience and during the coming season the Nunroyd Park club is to focus on building up the strength of their first team squad.
Their objective is to win promotion at the first attempt and the pre-season work will play a major part in this.
All players, old and new, can expect a warm welcome at training on Monday and Wednesday evenings. The initial emphasis will be on personal firness and 'all skills to all players'.
