Yeadon CC's Under-12 side have made a good start in the Gordon Bowers League although they have struggled to get games on due to the poor weather.

They have won all three of the games played so far recording victories over Tong Park, Ilkley and Guiseley.

At Tong Park Yeadon made 292-5 (252) with James Todd making 20, Kieren Dunne 13 and Richard Smith 11.

Park replied with 274-7 (227) as Todd had 0-6 off three overs, David Wilkinson 1-13 off three and Adam Smith 1-1 off one over.

Tight bowling has been a feature of the Yeadon side's performances and never more so than when they played Ilkley. Yeadon made 291-5 (251) with Simon Wood making 20 and Patrick Parker 22. As Ilkley replied with 247-5 (207) James Todd took 2-7 off three overs, Keiren Dunne 0-0 off two, Adam Smith 1-0 off two, Simon Wood 0-6 off two, Richared Smith 0-2 off two and Matthew Cheetham 0-5 off two.

Guiseley made 256-4 (224) as Matthew Cheetham took 1-4, James Todd 1-4, Keiren Dunne 0-5 and David Wilkinson 0-9.

Yeadon made 269-4 (237) in reply with James Todd making 12. T Adams took 1-4, D Saunders 1-6 amd A Driver 1-9.
