Jo Prowse won the Yorkshire Women's fell racing title in a thrilling race at Settle last weekend.
Prowse, 44, who has already clinched her British age group championship with one race to go, won the seven mile race by the thickness of her running vest.
Both Jo and Glossopdale's Sally Newman were credited with the same one hour 58 seconds time.
It's the latest in a string of victories in a heady six months for Prowse, who works for Airedale community health council. She has also earned international honours.
Bingley Harrier Matt Whitfield (47.35) set a new men's record at Settle as he, second man Paul Sheard - winner at Eldwick Gala the day before -- and Gary Devine, both Pudsey and Bramley, were all inside Greg Hull's benchmark time.
n K&C's Karen Slater chose to do the English senior race over fog-bound Lakes hills at Dockray Helvellyn. She finished second woman in the 21 mile event while Bingley's Rob Jebb took fourth man's spot.
n Keighley and Craven stage fell races from the Tarn House hotel, Stirton, near Skipton, next Wednesday. Three-time Sharphaw winner Andy Smith (36.22) and Karen Slater (46.30) hold the records for the 5.5 mile senior course which involves twin climbs of Sharphaw and a loop of woods on the Flasby side.

n Bingley Harriers are continuing their summer programme of races for all ages and abilities with a bumper three days of competition at Kettlewell next weekend.
On Friday evening (July 10) there is a short uphill race, on Saturday (July 11) there will be a 'medium' fell race with navigational skills required and on Sunday there will be a 'short' fell race.
Camping facilities are available in the village over the weekend.
