Children at Garden House had paws for celebration as they celebrated the 40th birthday of Paddington Bear with a special charity walk.
Pupils at the pre-preparatory part of Malsis School brought their furry friends into school for the sponsored teddy bear walk. And to celebrate the 40 th birthday of Paddington Bear, the children shared a birthday cake in his honour, before they started their 30 minute walk around the school.
All of the 27 children, aged between three and seven, took part in the fun event which was topped off with a fair at the school in the afternoon.
Teacher Jenny Judson says: "We had a wonderful time and fortunately the weather just held off for long enough to allow the children a chance to walk their bears. All of the children had a super day and they all enjoyed the birthday cake we had in honour of Paddington."
