Adventurous pupils were praised for their impeccable behaviour in Scargill last week.
The group of 15 children, aged 9-11, were congratulated by teachers and staff after their week-long stay for behaving so well.
They spent the week orienteering, pony trekking and exploring as part of their environmental studies.
Despite the showery weather, the pupils still enjoyed a bonfire in the woods and games. The trip is organised every two years.
A summer fair will be held at the school tomorrow. It will include stalls, attractions and the Great Balloon Race.
