Local artist Granville 'Danny' Clarke is appearing on Channel 4's new daytime show, 'Water-colour Challenge'.
Mr Clarke, pictured right, a professional artist and musician, was born in Keighley and went on to study at Barnsley College of Art. His love for the local countryside is clear in his paintings, which include 'Elements' and 'Images of Winter' (the latter painted live on BBC television in 1991).
He also has a passion for environmental issues and received an award from English Nature for outstanding artistic and environmental conservation works on some rare wildflower meadows he saved. He donates many of the proceeds from his work to charities.
'Watercolour Challenge' is broadcast by Channel 4 on Mondays at 3.30pm.
