A large quantity of potentially-fatal drugs has been stolen in a house burglary.
Police warn that the drugs - which were taken from a home in Skipton Road, Beechcliffe, on Wednesday afternoon - could kill if taken in sizeable dosages.
The haul includes 600 lamotrigine tablets, 12 bottles of the same drug in liquid form, and 400 tegretol tablets. They are used in the treatment of epilepsy.
Around 80 hypodermic needles were also stolen.
Insp Mick Hopwood, of Keighley police, says: "We are extremely concerned that if these controlled drugs fall into the wrong hands, or are consumed by children, the consequences could be tragic. They can cause drowsiness but if taken in any quantity they may prove fatal."
He warns anyone who finds the drugs to dial 999 immediately.
