Keighley'S revival continued with a comfortable five-wicket win over Salts.
A delayed start due to very wet conditions meant the game was reduced to 40 overs per side, and after winning the toss captain Steve Mitchell put Salts in to bat.
Steady early bowling had them struggling as the conditions gave assistance to all the Keighley bowlers. The home side were reduced to 147-9 with wicket keeper Wood taking four catches behind the sticks, a performance which took his season's tally to 25 victims and maintaining his lead as the division's top keeper.
Keighley opened with Reape and Broadley who made a steady start until Broadley was given out caught behind down leg side, a decision which had a 'Jonty Rhodes' similarity to it.
Star batsman Qasim Ali had a brief flurry before being needlessly run out. When Steve Mitchell followed Keighley were in trouble.
Youngster Gulsheraz Ahmed joined Steve Reape and the pair steared Keighley out of trouble with a match winning partnership. Reape made an excellent 60-plus before falling with victory in sight.
Rob McFarlane produced a few lusty blows to take Keighley to victory with an over to spare. Gulsheraz who is on the books of Yorkshire Academy, showed his potential with a battling 42.
This weekend Keighley will be hoping for further success with a visit to newcomers Morley, having already defeated them twice this season in league and cup.
Keighley 2nds needed to keep up the pressure on teams above them by beating Salts to add to their impresive win over Cleckheaton.
Salts were put in to bat on a wet wicket and found runs hard to score as the bowlers maintained a tight line and were backed up by some excellent fielding.
Paul Griffiths and andy smith took two and three wickets respectively ealy on to leave the visitors at 52-5. Ian Tomlinson and Nasser Kamal took two catches each.
Only Hussain scored any runs for Salts, reaching 68 before being trapped lbw by Adam Balderstone, who took four wickets.
Salts struggled to reach a match winning score, reaching 149 off 47 overs.
The Keighley reply started in an aggressice fashion as Kamal took the attack to the bowlers. He scored a very quick 74 out of 99 before going for one shot too many. The following batters scored at a slower rate, but Keighley comfortably reached their target with three wickets to spare.
